Add-on Unit ;  This is a simple 2 axis CNC machine.  It is designed to allow an operator instant access to an infinite number of custom shaft and butt tapers.  It is not designed for doing any type of detailed inlay work.  It is available as an add-on unit for those who may currently have compatible lathes. The Add-on Unit includes the items shown in the first photo below… The CNC carriage & Cross-slide assembly with 2 stepper motors w/wirinig to connect to the Driver Box and it includes the Gecko 540 Driver box w/Power Cable and parallel cable to connect to your computer.  Mach 3 CNC control software is available as a free down load and I will provide several G-code files for shaft and butt tapers.  It is also available as a complete stand alone CNC tapering set-up assembly (see below).  The Add-on units start at $1350.00.  Please contact me for complete details on set up options.
