Professional Cue Repair Lathe: With large (1.3875) through spindle bore:
This is a Professional Cue Repair Lathe. The photos on this page are simply to show some of the ways to set up this machine to do some operations.  This machine includes all tooling and components that come with the Professional Standard bore lathe except this lathe has the Large Bore Headstock instead of the Standard Bore Headstock.

In the hands of a qualified and experienced technician this lathe is capable of performing most the operations necessary to build a simple cue.  However, it will not easily cut a compound taper for making a new shaft.  The machine is capable of doing tips, ferrules, tenons and tenon replacement, joint collars, joint pins, ring work, butt caps, rewraps, and about any other type of cue repair including house cues. It has a 48” Bed, and a 42” carriage travel. The large bore headstock has a 4 jaw self centering scroll chuck and it has a 1.3875 inch through spindle bore, which makes it possible to pass a complete cue through the headstock spindle. The setup includes a continuous duty 3/4 HP DC motor with full variable speed control, reversible rotation switch and a plug-in foot control for doing wraps.  The lathe comes with a quickset bearing steady rest, an adjustable large bore steady rest with 4 jaw self centering scroll chuck with 1.3875 inch through bore.   It also includes a modified drilling tailstock with 1/2 inch commercial drill chuck. and comes with a concave live center, a 1.25 ID plastic collet for butt work and nylon collets for shaft tip end, shaft mid point, for the shaft joint end and includes a double sided tool post with two, 1/4 inch HSS cutting bits.   Price: $1477.00 + S&H    ALL PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE
